What are your capabilities, specialties, skill set? What's your story?
- Website CSS/HTML Design, Coding, and Development
I can work virtually with any framework or library, strategically designing, coding, customizing, graphically enhancing or maintaining desktop and mobile sites. My skills and interests are constantly evolving and growing on all of the above levels. I improve my skill daily, consciously working on my own web development projects as well as working with graphic design.
I am currently at the point where I seek new projects and to work full-time with a progressive web design/dev team or company. It would be a bonus for me to work with other creative people.
- My Story
I originally started out as a freelance graphic and web designer with a background in retail and, academically, in advertising/pr copywriting, multimedia design and computer science. I then worked intensively with online advertising and content management systems where I was bitten by the development bug. In the late 2000s with the explosion of new web technologies I became completely immersed in independently operating and further developing my own web-startups, specifically with integrating design with js libraries, HTML, CSS, PHP/MySQL and other commonly used technologies.
- Javascript/Ajax/XML. + HTML/CSS
I can handle scripts and coding and not just plug-ins. I can work with any plug-in or framework but really enjoy building my own or hand-coding from scratch. I enjoy creating sites using scripts in dynamic and compelling ways to enhance or integrate well with CSS/HTML. There are currently so many interesting, possibilities especially with new HTML and style specifications.
- CMS (Content Managmement System). PHP/MYSQL
I can essentially work with any CMS or framework. I can quickly master and customize any CMS. What CMS have I worked with? I have worked front-end and back-end on a custom large-scale XSLT-based CMS, open-source simple CMS such as Drupal and advanced CMS such as modX (OOP).
- Graphics/Photo-editing/Creative: Adobe Suite, using Photoshop, Illustrator, some Flash/Scripting, wide range of software
My experience also includes setting up full in-house advertising managment systems and contracting as an IT Designer who specialized in operating and coordinating both an in-house tracking system as well as a third-party Ad CMS. As a contractor I also created a variety of ads and worked with advertisers, as a member of a small IT team, and often in conjuction with other creative outfits.

I am currently seeking a full-time position at the right creative agency or company in need of a web designer or developer
- Although... I consider contract or freelance jobs. My base price starting for a basic web design and development project, site, or micro-site is $2250. Advertising or graphic design rates vary.
- I can build you creative, original and brand strategic websites, advertising or micro-sites with some bells and whistles that are structurally and code-wise sound.
- I can build you custom Content Management Systems (CMS) that can fit any design requirements or need.
- I can consult and help you plan and build a complex website site or network, including integrating everything that might go with it (in-house analytics, ad-serving, SEO, audio, video, databases, etc).
- I can setup, maintain, create, or manage all of your sites advertising, including copy and graphic design.
- Brand management. Game plans. Strategic planning and execution of any web project.
- Currently looking for a full-time position in design or development, web advertising, or website maintenance/operations. Team environment or partnership with another designer or developer or bright creative team a plus.
- Currently reside in the Chicago area but am open to relocating. I would be available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week excluding a reasonable amount of sleep and maybe a day of rest now and then.

Q: What are your professional and personal interests?
Active professional interests include: Currently refining my coding skills while keeping up with CSS3, HTML5, and emerging web technologies. Building sites and advertising-related online materials. Graphic Design. Personal projects include: film and music research and writing; operating, designing and developing my own web sites and web network brand. Graphic Design and art.
Besides doing my own thing, I am always open to networking among related advertising and communications industries or collaborating with designers, developers, illustrators, and artists on all sorts of projects.
